Friendly, high-quality dental care for all ages

Founded in 1982, we are a dental practice committed to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care. We have a no-rush approach so that we can get to know each individual patient and their treatment priorities. All options are explained so that each patient can be involved in the treatment planning process and make informed decisions about their dental care.

High quality dental care is our focus so we make sure that the best quality materials are used and enough time is allocated for each patient so that nothing is rushed. When required, we work with local specialists and labs who also share our philosophy of attention to detail and high quality.

We are a locally owned independent private practice so dental care is shaped around each individual patient’s needs. All health insurance funds are accepted and a HICAPS machine is available for on-site claiming of insurance benefits. We can also provide quotes for any treatment including how much your insurance will pay and what any out of pocket costs will be. For children eligible for the Medicare child dental benefits scheme we offer bulk-billed treatment with no out of pocket gap.

As a general practice we stay up to date in all aspects of dental care including crowns, bridges, implants, root canal treatments, paediatric dentistry, gum treatment, extractions, dentures, snoring appliances and mouthguards. We also work closely with local specialists when required.

About our staff

Dr Ben Zuidersma BDSc (hons)

Ben graduated from UWA in 2013 and won the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons prize for finishing top of his class. Ben works at the practice Monday to Saturday except for Tuesdays where he works at a government clinic for patients with special needs. With a friendly and gentle approach Ben likes to get to know each patient so that treatment can be tailored to their individual needs. When not working, Ben enjoys landscape photography and taking his friendly dog Tommy for a walk along the beach.

Dr Peter Maloney BDSc

Peter founded the practice in 1982. Since then he has experienced the privilege of treating patients from infancy through to adulthood even having patients fly back from the Eastern States and overseas for treatment. After a five year transition period with Ben working alongside him, Peter has recently retired from dental practice.
